External Resources & Information
Websites in the resource section were carefully selected by myself. I wanted to include a section that was more than a list of exchange partners. I included sites based on what I would want to find when searching for additional information.
Poker Rooms - I've been playing online poker since the early days. I've played on most poker rooms. Some I find unplayable, others are worth my time. There are hundreds, if not thousands of poker rooms online but very few I feel are worth mentioning.
Poker Strategies - I added strategy websites based on what I read, sites I'd feel comfortable mentioning to others. I know these people take pride in their websites and always write with the end user in mind.
Poker Software - I don't normally use poker software. I don't play like a robot and don't want to but I think some of these resources could be useful for others looking to enhance their poker experience.
Baccarat - I've played this game at the casino. As far as I'm aware there is no strategy other than learning the rules. I added websites that offer relevant information.
Blackjack - I don't rate online blackjack but understand many of the strategies involved to eat away at the house edge. I play a lot of blackjack at live casinos and read several books on the subject. I added sites that I considered valuable resources.
Craps - Craps has been around since 1573 (Egypt). There's no real strategy involved but it's possible to make silly bets. A little background reading should help you avoid pitfalls.
Video Poker - Again, the only strategy is to avoid mistakes. Other than that, the skill element is a myth. It's a house game and in the long run house win, but I like poker and have the occasional flutter at Video poker. I added a few interesting sites on the subject.
Fruit Machine Games - Again, house games, forget the strategy and if you do play, remember it's not a money making opportunity. I added games I've played myself.
Backgammon - It's debatable whether backgammon is a skill game. Some players make more mistakes than others so I guess it might be. The sites I've added describe the game well.
Bingo Guide - Zero strategy other than staying awake. Online bingo is easy, you just need to know how to deposit. I'll play the occasional game for respite from poker. I added websites that offer useful bingo related information.
Bingo Forums - Bingo is more of a social gathering, both online and off. I added some of the more popular bingo forums if anyone fancies chatting about their blue rinse.
